Built in 1995, this lovely home has withstood Hurricanes Luis, Marilyn, Bertha and Georges without suffering any structural damage.
"In 1998, St. John was looking into the maw of Hurricane Georges, which was about to be upgraded to a Category 5, the highest category for a hurricane. I knew of a Force 10 house where I could take myself and my kids.
In the end, we had six kids, four moms, and the couple who resided in the house, coexisting in a 920 square foot, three bedroom house for the duration of the storm. I can't begin to describe how comfortable and safe we felt - the kids still think it was just a fun sleepover!"
