The key challenge for this project was to design, manufacture and supply a 1,100 man Mining Construction Camp in less than 3 months! In addition, the brief was to ensure ALL components to turn key were included in a self – contained ‘package’ destined for a very remote location...
The picture depicts part of the 1,100 man camp currently under construction in Papua New Guinea. This major project tested Force 10’s ability to supply Accommodation, Ablution, Dining, Medical and Recreational facility structures for over 1,100 men in less than 3 months. Force 10 are also helping organise construction workers and supervision on site.
The versatility of the Force 10 product has proved to be an excellent match for the difficult conditions in PNG; Remoteness, Tropical downpours, Earthquake zone, Termites and not least catering for the diverse needs of over 1,000 people.
The brief also called for very fast on site construction as the accommodation and facilities are urgently required to support the extraction of the Liquified Natural Gas.
This major manufacturing, construction and logistical program is being project managed by Force 10 and our Mining Accommodation strategic partnership with GCC Services trading as ACS in Australia.
